OpsKit Privacy Notice
1. Scope
This notice explains how the OpsKit website (tools.cintherian.com) handles information when you use its calculators, checklists, renewal calendar, decision tools, vendor directory, and policy downloads.
2. What stays in your browser
OpsKit stores the following in your browser using localStorage: onboarding, offboarding and security checklist progress; software-renewal records you enter; your selected display currency; your analytics choice; and local markers that stop the same checklist completion being counted twice.
We do not receive this content. It stays on your device and this website's origin unless you export it. It is lost when browser storage is cleared. Browser storage is not an encrypted vault, so please do not enter passwords, authentication secrets, payment-card data, medical information, disciplinary records, incident evidence or other highly sensitive information.
3. Optional analytics (Google Analytics 4)
OpsKit uses Google Analytics 4 only after you select Accept analytics. Until then the Google tag is not loaded and no analytics event is sent. Measurement ID: G-XPENE8FP1W.
After you accept, Google Analytics may process the page and tool viewed, referral and campaign information, browser, device, operating-system and language information, approximate location derived from your network, event time and technical identifiers. It may also record its standard automatic measurement, such as outbound link clicks or file downloads. Google may set analytics cookies, commonly _ga and _ga_<container-id>.
OpsKit itself sends these custom events:

These events never include tool or vendor names you type, checklist answers, renewal dates, contract values, prices, seat counts, headcount, calculated totals, or the contents of an export or download.

4. Your choice and withdrawal
Analytics is optional; declining does not limit any tool. Use the Privacy & analytics button in OpsKit to change your choice at any time. Selecting Decline stops any further data being sent to Google straight away; reload the page to remove the Google script from your current visit. Withdrawing does not delete cookies or data already collected: clear your browser's site data to remove cookies, and contact us about data already processed.
5. Legal basis
We rely on your consent for analytics. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and policies.
6. Retention
Browser data stays until you or your browser remove it. Google Analytics event data is retained for 14 months.
7. Sharing
Analytics data is processed by Google and its service providers. Google Signals and advertising features are not enabled for this analytics property, and we do not use it for advertising. We do not otherwise receive or transmit what you enter into OpsKit. Following a vendor link takes you to that vendor's website, which has its own privacy practices.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of personal information, to obtain a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. Contact [email protected]. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
9. Changes
We will update this notice, and ask for consent again where required, if our analytics, hosting or data flows change.
